Stressed..Stuck..Bored..


Life is fast.. It demands us to be on our toes all the time..

There is a lot going on with everyone like for ex. Grades, Break up, Work,Accidents, Sickness what not.. At some point, we might be overwhelmed, stressed, depressed. It ok to take a break and slow down once in a while, when we do we actually don't know what to actually do during free time.

Heres a few tips to help you with rejuvenating yourself

 Tips for instant results:

  1. Wear bight color dresses
  2. Go for shopping
  3. Pamper yourself with some comfort food/spa
  4. Change your style
  5. Make changes in your room
  6. Read a book


 Tips for long lasting results, which needs a little bit of planning :

  1. Visit Family & Friends
  2. Take a Trip
  3. Get a pet.
  4. Brush up your old skills
  5. Volunteer / Donate for a cause.

  1. Invest in yourself


Wear Bright colored dresses:


When you're stressed and don't have time for yourself, but ve lots of stuff to do, just try dressing up with bright colors, Bight colors can instantly brighten up your mood. You might probably have few dresses sleeping in your closet waiting for an occasion, Try them on with your priceless smile.  


Go for shopping : 




Yes, Shopping can give you a sense if freedom and satisfaction! I dint mean you have to spend a whole lot, and empty your wallet. You can always do window shopping and buy only a few which is really worth the cost 





Pamper yourself with some comfort food/spa : 



A good comforting food can give you an instant vacation from which ever place or stress you are. Have come cheat days once in a while from your tedious diet plans if any. Do introduce new cuisine to your taste buds.







Many a times physical discomfort may be a source of depression, try massage or a spa therapy with a good 8 hrs night sleep. You will feel fresh, it will really help you to think and act better.




Change your style : 


Go for a cool haircut, hair colouring/straitening.  Try nose/ear piercing, or you could also try tattoo.. there are temporary and permanent stuff out there. Live your life go for it. You will definitely feel better.


Make Changes in your room :


Hang a few photo frames here and there, those frozen happy moments will never fail to cheer you up. 

Try changing a new bed spread and a new curtains. Rearrange the furnitures if possible replace them. It really helps.




Read a Book:


This is the easy way out, A book are true companions, you can read it either in your room, or take it to a nearest park with some snack and a drink, and get yourself lost in the book. Instead of choosing horror,fiction, detective or love/romance i would suggest you to try autobiography, philosophy and self development suff.

Family & Friends:

For long time break you sure can try visiting family and friends, choose to visit people who are they themselves are a happy soul, and can lit up the place especially old people like granny. when you meet people after a long time there are good chances they remind you with lots of happy memories which you have long forgotten. you will actually come to know how happy and  free spirited once you are. I would also suggest you to spend a lot of time with kids and watching kids, sometimes kid will teach the most valuable lessons in life.




Take a trip or tour:

Depending upon you resources (time & money) plan and trip. If you want a fun trip  like paragliding, scuba diving go with your friends, but if your looking for peace and spend some me time,  go all by yourself. A spiritual trip will also serve the purpose. when on trip try to have local food and get to know about the culture of the place as much as possible.

Get a Pet:


Trust me on this, you will never ever feel lonely if you have a pet around. No matter what they will always be there with the same love. Get any pet, i guess doggy would be a much more a lively companion.




Brush up your old skills:


Stay in touch with stuff which make you feel alive, when you were young, you might have spent hours on the ground playing cricket. Painting.. Dancing, singing, writing.. Any thing that makes you happy. Remember people have the same 24hrs.


Volunteer or Donate for a cause:




Whenever possible spend time and money for less fortunate. You can also donate blood and organs and promote it among peers. One cannot explain the joy of giving, Charity will sure fill the vacuum in your heart. It is the right thing to do,  you will sleep like a baby after feeling the sense of fulfilment. Sharing is caring. Donate your old cloths, toys and anything that might help.


Above all for a life time of happiness invest in yourself.

Learn a foreign language.
Learn to play a string instrument.
Learn swimming
In other words learning is a continuous process, you are never to old to learn anything new.

Have proper diet, get sufficient amount of sleep, workout, A health life is a happy life. Mean what good is life when you cant have cake in a birthday party.

Make this as a everyday routine :  Workout, Go for cycling, at least try walking.
